The drop-ins are FREE and can assist you:

 

• make a claim on-line for benefits – such as Housing Benefit, Universal Credit etc

• use an online "what benefits might I be entitled to claim" assessment tool  

• set up and use your Universal Credit account and update your journal entries

• set up and use the Jobcentres "Find a Job" to identify and apply for jobs

• create an email address to apply for jobs on-line

• create, update and upload your CV

• gain more confidence in using a computer

Wednesday  14:00 to 16:00

Do you find I.T. a bit of a nightmare? Would a FREE programme of basic computer workshops make a difference? 

 

By the end of the four x 2 hrs workshop sessions you should be able to:

  • identify the various parts of a computer you need to regularly use 
  • understand the importance of keeping yourself safe online
  • be able to create, save and retrieve your documents  
  • send and receive emails and attach and open documents sent by email
  • find your way around the internet to search for items of interest
  • complete online forms
